Poem 9: Happy New Year
Happy New Year
Dreams fulfilled or the dreams shattered !
Absolute bliss or the painful depressions !
Relationships started or the relationships broken !
Harmony or the constant bickering !
Tranquillity or the labyrinth of emotions !
Time goes by! Present becomes the past
Future becomes the present
Let the bygones be bygones
No magic is going to change the past
Life never gives a rewind
It is time to move on
Loads of fun and frolic
Bundles of joy and warmth
Smiles all around
Let warmth and happiness surround
For all your wishes to come true
I wish you a happy new year.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
If you can ignore the big logical flaws in the movie, this movie will be good entertaining movie.
Anouska sharma who loses his lover in an accident on the marriage day just before the marriage, is emotionally made to accept Suri (SRK) as husband by his dying father as he feels she will land into safe hands.
But anouska just stays a stranger in the house with Suri as she says she can never love him. When anouska joins the dance classes, Suri joins the classes as Raj with make over as a cool dude and manages to bring smiles into anouska's life and wins her love. Anouska falls into odd dilemma on whether to choose Suri or Raj.
I wonder how on earth a gal can never recognise her own hubby just coz he has shaved his moustache and does not wear glasses! I did not like the last 15 mins of the movie where a gal who says she can never love Suri, falls in love with Raj and decides to run away but changes her mind in notime to stay with Suri and falls in love with Suri all of a sudden. Too dramatic :-)
SRK has given a polished performance and this movie has good entertaining scenes all around.
My rating: 8/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 to 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Fashion
The performances from Kangana and Priyanka chopra are outstanding. I personally liked the kangana's acting in the way she shows her attitude on the ramp,
Drug scenes and the scenes where she talks to priyanka towards the climax. Her eyes and expressions speaks louder.
Overall this is a nice movie and the movie is almost close to reality.
My rating: 8/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 t0 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Bedtime Stories
There is light humour throughout the movie. This movie is a typical family film made keeping kids and teens as target. Adults can watch it once too but it is definitely not a must watch.
My rating: 7.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 t0 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)

Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog Millionaire is movie from the cast of Fox Searchlight and directed by Danny Boyle (Director of Trainspotting, 28 Days later, Sunshine etc) and shot completely in India about an Indian story which is made out of Vikas Swarup's novel. It is an international production with music composed by none other than our very own AR Rahman.
Slumdog Millionaire is the story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who goes on to win a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" TV show, with no motive of money but with soul intention of getting back his love 'Latika'. The movie is all about how destiny is written already with a fairy tale ending.
AR Rehman's music has given life and soul to this brilliant movie. The sound track of this movie is just awesome. I have totally fallen in love with the sound tracks 'O Saya', 'Latika Theme' , 'Boys on the train' and 'Dreams on fire' already and listening to them again and again. This movie is a masterpiece from Danny Boyle and the maestro 'AR Rehman'.
Just get hold of a good bass speakers before you listen to this ''O Saya'' track sung by AR Rehman featuring M.I.A.
I would definitely love to watch ARRehman's score being nominated for Oscar and this movie being nominated for this year's Oscar. I would not be surprised if any of these happens. This movie is a treat to watch for the way this movie shows the other side of India so realistically with ARRehman's score doing wonders on Boyle's brilliant direction along with wonderful acting by the actors, though you can leave alone the fairy tale ending. Simon Beaufoy's screenplay of the Vikas Swarup's novel is bloody brilliant.
This film has already won lots of awards all around the world and nominated for 4 Golden Globe awards in different categories. Don't be surprised if this movie gets the Oscar for Best motion picture of the year and when AR Rahman gets the Oscar for Best original score for this movie. It has already won lots of awards around the world and nominated for 4 Golden globe awards which includes nomination for Best Original score by AR Rahman. Talks are that this film will be sweeping atleast 2 Oscars including one under category 'Best motion picture of the year' and 'Best Original Score'. Audience in Canada film festival gave standing ovation twice to this movie screening (once after the screening and another one after the credits) which is a rare thing in film festival. Check out the below link to see the list of awards and nominations for this movie.

My rating: 9.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 t0 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Ghajini (Hindi)
Ever since I saw the promos of the Ghajini, I was waiting to watch it in theatre. I must say that the movie has lived up the expecations and the hype. People who have watched Christopher Nolan's 'Memento' and the tamil version of 'Ghajini' may not like this hindi version much like other versions, but they will also accept that this movie is good.
The director Murugadoss has delivered yet again and the recreated the same magic in direction and screenplay just like he delivered in the tamil version of 'Ghajini'. 'Hai Guzarish' , 'Becha' and 'yeh bachu' songs are nice. It has always been upto the directors to take the best out of A.R Rehman. Murugadoss has not succeded fully in that attempt. The background score in hindi version is not great compared to the tamil version.
Asin has performed really well and she remains in the audience mind even when the movie is over which speaks about her performance. Aamir looks young in his new outlook as Sunil singhania and is menacing with his 8 pack abs and his pumped up body in the revenge scenes. Aamir khan speaks loads through his body language and expression. This movie has blockbuster written all over it.
My rating: 8.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 t0 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
1920
1920 falls is a hindi movie which falls under the thriller/horror genre. Architects who comes to demolish the beautiful mansion to build a majestic hotel die mysteriously as little do they know that the majestic mansion is haunted by a spirit which is waiting for years to take its revenge.
The hero, who is an architect with big career dreams and his wife arrive at the mansion things turn horrible as heroin gets possessed by the spirit. What happens after that is the story?
This movie is an old wine in new bottle. Though some of the scenes are scary, the supposed to be scary scenes towards the climax are actually funny. You can watch this movie once if you don't have any other movie to watch.
My rating: 6/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 t0 8 - OK types, 8 to 9 - worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Dasvidaniya
The movie is about Amar kaul (Vinay Pathak), a 37 year old bachelor who is lost into his mundane life where people around him are oblivious to his existence. When Amar gets a report from doctor that he has only 3 months to live due to stomach cancer, he is devastated and ends up making a list of 1o things to do before he dies. What all does he list and how he executes them is what the story is about!
Though Dasvidaniya is claimed to be inspired by the hollywood movie 'Bucket List', the director of this movie claims that the script of this movie was written well before Bucket list. Well, apart the idea of making list of things to do before dying, Dasvidaniya is absolutely different. It is a bitter sweet comedy and Amar kaul has pulled it off nicely with his humour and brilliant acting. This movie is inspiring too to do things which one likes with the attitude as though today is the end of the world of one's life. The expressions of Vinay pathak in few of the scenes will make you laugh out loud for sure. After Bheja fry and Dasvidaniya, I have become a fan of Vinay Pathak.
My rating: 9/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 and above- OK types, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Aamir
Aamir, a short and realistic movie, is a bold attempt made in the Bollywood director 'Rajkumar Gupta'. A NRI doctor who returns to India finds himself set up in a strange situation by a terror gang where he is made to receive and deliver something from few people by unknown people who keeps the lives of doctor's family's lives under threat. Who sets Aamir up, how they set him up, what is he made to receive and deliver, what happens in the end? Though the movie goes bit slow and you might be confused what is happening, it is worth watching till the climax. The climax is rivetting. I am sure you will exclaim as 'Oh My God' when you watch the climax. The story unflods in the climax.
My rating: 8.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 and above- OK types, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
My Best Friend's Girl
But when Tank works his magic on Alexis, he ends up meeting the challenge of a lifetime and finds himself torn between his loyalty to Dustin and a strange new attraction to his best friends girl.
Watch this movie only if you like the adult comedy movies like Good luck chuck or A 40 year old virgin or Knocked up.
My rating: 6.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 and above- OK types, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa
After the first part of Madagascar which rocked in 2005 here comes the sequel to it - "Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa". The movie is good but not as good as the part 1. The voices to the characters and the expressions are so cute. The flight scene is the best of all and will definitely make you laugh.
I still remember the lines when the penguin announces about the flight crash as 'I got good news and bad news. Good news is we are landing now and the bad news is we are crash landing'.
The story line is boring and routine and that is where the movie loses edge to it is previous part as part 2 is lost in creativity.
My rating: 7.5/10. (6 or less- Avoid, 6 and above- OK types, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Poem 8: Its you
Its you
Out in the sunshine, so bright
Lake view, a lovely sight
Indeed it is lovely weather
I always cherish our times together
Our dances together in sync
Like I care what people think!
Breezy afternoon, our bike rides!
Together in beach sands, watching tides!
You add life to my soul
Together! how about a stroll?
I am nothing without you
We are one and not two
Isn't it true?
One wish, I wish could come true!
Together in the dark besides each other
and count stars one after another
I know it will never come true
As I am your shadow and I am you!
Just in case if you thought the poem is about a gal, please re-read the poem again after reading the last line of the poem :-).

Yes Man
It is a fun filled comedy movie and it is worth watching. Nice movie to watch over the weekend with lots of popcorn.
My rating: 8.5/10. (6.5 or less- avoid, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Twilight
The protagonist and his family of vampires try not to hurt humans in those 90 years n
survive only on animal blood. Story goes on with small twists and some usual villain stuff towards end and leaving ending for the sequel.
First thing i liked about the movie is that there are no bloody gory scenes like other vampire movies. The movie portrays nice romantic scenes between the hero and heroine. Though the first half is good, the movie is bit boring in the second half. Which dumb gal will fall in love with a vampire when the vampire says that his instincts wants to kill the gal though he loves the gal? :-) Teenage girls and those who have read Twilight series will love this movie but others will find this movie just about average.
My rating: 8/10. (6.5 or less- avoid, 8 and above- worth watching once, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
InkHeart
The movie is just average and once watchable if you like fantasy and adventure films. The screenplay stirs up interest in the first half but gets predictable and bit boring towards end.
My rating:7.5/10 ( 6- avoid, 8 - worth watching, 9 and above- very good and must watch)
Dostana
This movie is about two guys (Abhishek Bacchan and John Abraham) who are not gay but pretend to be gay to get a house for rent who end up falling in love with Priyanka. Priyanka is in love with her boss (Sunny deol). The movie does make you laugh louder in couple of scenes. Overall dostana is a good entertainer.
My rating: 8/10 (6.5 or less - avoid, 8 and above worth watching, 9 and above very good and must watch)
The Day the Earth Stood Still
My rating: 7/10 (6.5 or less - Avoid, 8 or above - Worth watching, 9 or above- Very good and must watch)
Quantum of Solace
My rating: 8/10 (6.5 or less - Avoid, 8 or above - Worth watching, 9 or above- Very good and must watch)

Aladdin - Experience of watching a professional pantomime
Once I heard about the pantomime 'Aladdin' which will be performed at Ipswich Regent Theatre (UK) for the Christmas and new year season, I booked the tickets along with couple of my colleagues for saturday evening performance of 'Aladdin' to watch a professional pantomime for the first time ever. Though I was excited about the pantomime as I already knew the Aladdin story, I must admit that I had bit of apprehension that the show should not be serious and boring. The theatre was packed with almost 60% plus crowd with most of them being families.
From the moment the pantomime started it was absolute entertainment. The crowd was loving every bit of it. So did I. The pantomime was scripted in an entertaining way to keep the spectators participating with loads of jokes and dialogues. The children were cheering loudly whenever Aladdin and the comedians (Harper brothers) as chinese policeman showed up on the stage. The kids were booing whenever the villian (Abanaazar) showed up on the screen. I noticed only after sometime that I was also clapping along with everyone whenever a scene got over. I found it bit strange when I noticed that the protagonist role of Aladdin was being played by a beautiful and versatile UK actress and singer - Debra stephenson. A lady playing a male role? Weird isn't it? But she was very entertaining and did full justice to the lead role.
The performance was having lot of dances for catchy tunes throughout. The dances by the students (including kids) of suffolk academy of dance and perfoming arts with nice costumes were good. The UK TV legendary fox (Stuffed fox) character 'Basil Brush' was playing the role of the chinese emperor and he was splendid with its jokes and 'Boom boom' catch phrase. Kids absolutely loved him. I saw so many kids buying the Basil brush stuff toys and dancing with it during the interval. There was a high speed car chase scene where Aladdin and the princess were goibng in a car on roads in the video projected on the screen. It was just brilliant. The setup of flying magic carpet on which Aladdin literally was flying on the stage, was the highlight of the pantomime. Full kudos to the arrangements.
The stage setup, flying palace setup, background screens, strobe lights, sound effects, specatular costumes and were all brilliant. I was thrilled to see the kids and parents standing up and dancing to the last dance number of the show. It was a lovely sight. After giving a standing ovation at the end, I walked out of the pantomime with smiles and thoughts that I should definitely recommend 'Aladdin' to all my colleagues and friends as I don't want them to miss this joyous experience.

Some solutions to Bangalore traffic woes?
The rapid growth in the IT industry during that period of time has given a boost to the growth of the city but it has also brought unique challenges to the city. Of course the city is being improved by other industries as well.Bengaluru's human population and the vehicle population also grew in rapid way making the traffic situation difficult. The city's infrastructure did not scale up in the rapid way as it was expected to. Bengaluru is now the third populous city in India with an estimated population of around 6 million and it is the 27th most populous city in the world. Bengaluru has the highest number of 2-wheelers in the world and also holds the dubious reputation for the highest two wheeler thefts. Traffic situation has become one of the top problems in the city today. Traffic situation is only getting worse day by day giving nightmares to the people. Let me share my thoughts on the traffic situation and some solutions to the human factor of the traffic woes.
It takes hours to reach work place from home these days. The honking on the roads and long traffic jams really do get on to the nerves almost every time. If we have to reduce this traffic problems going forward, the infrastructure needs to be improved and the inflow of people into Bengaluru needs to be controlled/reduced. Infrastructure could mean anything from good quality roads, traffic signals, advanced traffic monitoring and control systems, subways, elevated over bridges above road, fly overs, metro rail project, ring roads, better bus stops and good public transport facility, underground roads, bridges, drainage systems, pot hole free roads, driver and vehicle history tracking facility, any kind of advanced facilities etc. Basically the vehicle density on the road at any point of time needs to be reduced. Considering the rate at which city is growing, if the current infrastructure is not improved and if the inflow of people is not controlled/reduced, traffic problems will only be worse 5 to 10 years down the line. Bengaluru needs to scale up without compromising on its uniqueness.
We as individuals are also responsible for better traffic conditions. How often do people follow the traffic rules? Bangalore city traffic police can only try their best to control the traffic but the real responsibility belongs to us. If all people follow the traffic rules properly, the traffic problems and accidents could be reduced to an extent. Things like vehicle speeding, zig zag driving by some 2 wheelers, pot holes in the road, jumping lanes at will, jumping signals, cabs driving at dangerous speeds considering the traffic, BMTC buses stopping the buses in the middle of the road and ending up blocking the road for others, two wheelers not following the lane discipline, roads with potholes have become a regular sight oflate.
Let me also list some statistics from Bangalore city traffic police website here to give a better idea of the traffic situation. As on 30/04/2008, the vehicle population of Bangalore stands at 3.1 million (includes 2 wheelers, cars, buses , heavy vehicles and all vehicles coming in and going out of the city) and most of the roads are operating at 2 to 3 times of their capacity. It literally corresponds to 1 vehicle for every 2 people in Bangalore. The number of vehicles are increasing at 7 to 10% rate every year (roughly 1200 vehicles per day). In India, Bangalore has the second highest number of vehicles (around 31 lakhs) after Delhi (52 lakhs) but considering the total area of Bangalore, Bangalore has the highest vehicle density in India.
Two wheelers - 70% of the vehicle population (around 2.7 million or 270 lakhs two wheelers)
Cars - 15% of the vehicle population (around 0.47 million or 4.7 lakh cars)
Autos - 4% of the vehicle population ( around 1.24 lakh autos)
Buses, vans,tempos - Remaining 8% (around 2.5 lakh vehicles)
As you can see from the statistics above, the traffic problem is not only because of the vehicles of IT professionals as some claim, as there are only around 1200 IT companies and around 7 lakh IT/BT employees (around 3.5 lakh IT and 2.5 lakh BPO employees) in Bengaluru.
These are a few suggestions from my side to reduce the traffic problems due to the human factor and the vehicle density factor. Some of the ideas could be old.
1. Different time schedules for the schools/colleges and offices:
By introducing different start and end time to the schools, colleges and offices than the usual timings which clash together, we can reduce the number of vehicles on road during the peak times. Some of the schools and offices are already following this. It would be great if all schools, colleges and offices think together on this lines and come up with some action.
2. Vehicle pooling:
As one can see from the statistics given above, 2 wheelers contribute to majority of the vehicle population on road at any time. Companies should encourage employees to pool in together and commute to office whenever possible. Though many people will prefer using the personal mode of commutation, vehicle pooling is not a bad idea from individual point of view as it will help to reduce the fuel expense per head.
3. Company /school/college buses:
Though some proposition of people use buses from company or school or college to commute, companies, schools and colleges can still encourage the people who do not use their buses to consider using them.
4. Shifting bus stops away from the junctions:
Unlike other cities, the lot of bus stops in Bengaluru are very close to the junctions/circles and it does add to further traffic problems. These bus stops needs to be shifted bit far from the junctions.
5. Diversion of (HTV) heavy transport vehicles to different route during day time:
I still wonder why the heavy transport vehicles are allowed into main city limits through some roads during day time. Authorities should consider diverting all the HTV into different route(s) from city limits during the day time or during specified time limits.
6. Enclosed metal bridge crossings above the road:
In some of the roads in Bengaluru where there is zebra crossing in the heavy traffic roads, strong enclosed metal bridge crossings (like the ones used in railway stations) can be introduced above the roads so that public can use it any time of the year (even during rains)। If the metal over bridge is in place, the zebra crossing can be closed for public. Hence public will be forced to use the enclosed metal bridge to cross roads and the road can be freely used by vehicles without traffic signals. This will save time for both the people who drive vehicles and the public who cross the roads. In the places where there is no other crossing near by, zebra crossing can be retained for the benefit the elders and people who cannot use the over bridge.
7. Big stickers/ boards in vehicles:
Big stickers or easily mountable/fixable boards (around the size of a number plate) with message in it like 'I follow the traffic rules. Do you?' (or any other catchy awareness messages) can be distributed by the Bangalore traffic police to the public. Public can display it in the back of their vehicles. Definitely when a person is waiting in traffic behind a vehicle( 2 wheeler/car) with this display board, he or she will notice the display board and it will create more awareness. The person who is displaying this display board/sticker will also feel more responsible than before. Cars can simply keep this small placard with message near the rear window for people behind to see.
8. Empower public to control traffic:
I am really happy to see the initiative from Bangalore city traffic police to install 80 cameras at different parts of the city to monitor people who jump signals and those who drive above speed limits etc. An Enforce Automation center is set up with access to records of every vehicle and its user. Every traffic inspector has been given a blackberry with access to history of the driver and the vehicle at the press of a button. However, cameras should be installed at every traffic junction like it is done in lot of abroad countries to cover the footage 24/7.
As traffic police cannot be at all places all the time and cameras are not available at every junction, people can empower themselves to control the traffic. As these days most of the people have mobile phones with cameras, as and when one notices a person breaking a law /jumping a signal or speeding or jumping lanes at will etc.., anyone can capture a picture of the vehicle (for Reg.No and proof) and mail or send it to traffic police so that traffic police can send a notice to the vehicle owner (Registration address) with fine. The fine should be also be heavy and this exercise needs to be carried out strictly by the authorities. The fear of sure punishment if one breaks the traffic rules, will definitely reduce the traffic woes to an extent.
9. Bangalore Traffic authorities to track history of violations:
The Bangalore traffic police should have proper mechanism/facilities to track the history of the vehicle, the owner and the violations. The history data should be shared with the vehicle insurance companies on demand, as insurance companies can charge the insurance premium based on the vehicle and the owner's track record. This practice is in place in lot of abroad countries. If introduced in Bangalore, this will be a good initiative to bring down the traffic problems. Point based systems on license can be brought in where once a person accumulates certain points on his license for traffic violations, the license will be cancelled and the person has to re-appear for driving license exam to take a fresh license. Lot of countries have this system in place.
10. Heavy fines:
The city traffic police should be paid very well so that the bribery on traffic laws violations can be brought down. On a violation of traffic rule, Bangalore traffic police should levy heavy fines and should be strict on collecting them. A record for the violation should be maintained for the history of the driver and the vehicle. Drunken driving and any other forms of dangerous driving should be penalized heavily.
11. Strict rules to obtain a driving license:
The rules to obtain a driving license should be made strict. This will enable the people to know the traffic rules better and will increase awareness. In UK, one has to clear a theory exam to be eligible to take a practical driving test to obtain a driving license. The practical driving test is so strict and tough that people often celebrate it as a big occasion when they clear the driving test.
12. Subways:
In the major traffic junctions, subways could be set up so that it will help the pedestrians to go to the otherside of the road by underground easily and it will ease the traffic as well. The zebra crossings right next to the subways should be closed so that the public will use the subways effectively
13. Double deck buses:
Double deck buses could be used more in Bangalore and can be operated in the routes where there are no vehicle height problems. I believe most of the roads would support the height of the double deck buses and few double deck buses are already operating in some routes. These buses can commute more people and it can reduce the number of vehicles on the road to some extent. Double deck bus is not a common sight in most of the cities in India and hence these buses will also bring a new charm to the city.
14. Namma Metro rail project should be speeded up:
Karnataka government should intervene in the 'Namma Metro' rail project which is running 9 months behind schedule as of now and should speed up the project so that it could be completed as soon as possible without any further delays। The phase 1 (33kms) of Namma metro is supposed to become functional by late 2010 or late 2011. The sooner the project starts, the better it is for the public. Metro rail project will definitely reduce the number of vehicles on the road and will give solutions to atleast few of the existing traffic problems. Namma Metro team should make sure that once the Namma Metro project is complete, the trees and greenery removed due to construction space, is atleast partially restored by planting saplings where ever it is possible.
15. Shift the focus to other cities as well:
For the long term benefit, government should also focus more upon promoting the companies and new projects to set their bases in the other cities in India (Tier I and Tier II cities). By doing this the inflow of population into Bangalore will reduce which will help in controlling the traffic situation in long run and even the other cities in will also improve.
P.S: The points mentioned in this post are just my opinions out of concern and are written to bring awareness of the existing situation.

Sponsoring a child's education
By helping a child's education throughout, you not only help the child learn education but you help the child to become independent and stand up on his/her own foot. Of course not everyone will be able to sponsor a child's education throughout. One can always support in whatever way he/she can. For example, one can sponsor for the child's books for that year or the child's school fees for that month or child's dress expenses for few months or child's living expenses for few months/a year or a child's weekly food expenses or a child's whole year education fee. As you can see there are a lot of ways a small but significant amount of monetary help can make a difference. If couple of friends join hands together, they can make a big difference in the life of one of millions of children who are in need of help. If not for monetary help, either one or group of friends can go to NGOs and teach in spare time or weekends or can tutor a student who cannot pay tuition fees. It need not be just children whom you can help. It could as well be your college mate or any friend who is in financial need for studies. These are just my opinions.
''Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile'' - Albert Einstein.
'No preaching without practicing'. I am sponsoring for a child's education from last year. I have chosen a 3rd standard child from a NGO and have decided to sponsor for the child's education every year till the child grows up and gets a job. I did some background research about the NGO before deciding to go ahead with the education sponsorship as I wanted to be damn sure that my help will actually reach the needy. At the end of the day, it does give me immense pleasure in making difference to a child's life and makes me feel socially responsible as well. I am also helping in other forms with whatever I can.
Ofcourse there are people other than children who are in need of help and there are other ways to help as well. I do not deny it.
For all the people who have been contemplating about social service or extending help to needy in any form, there is no better day than today to start with and make a difference. If this post can inspire even one, I will be more than happy.

Poem 4: Too late
This poem was inspired by the novel 'A Monk who sold his Ferrari' by Robin Sharma and I have added a dramatic ending in this poem. The poem emphasizes on following one's dreams and passions and carries message for the people who often tend to get succumbed in to the fast pace of the life.
Poem 3: Walk of my life
This poem is an imaginary write emphasizing that one should live life to the fullest and should open eyes to see that happiness is all around and everything is beautiful in its own way.
Poem 2: Untitled
This poem written in Tamil is a love poem where the lover compares his lover to all the beautiful things. I actually wrote the poem like a film song but edited it this way to make it sound better.
For the benefit of all the people who cannot read Tamil, I have put the translation in English for the tamil poem above. As the below version is a translation from Tamil to English, the rhyming and feel may be different.
Did i get lost in your stary smile?
you are a mehndi garden which turns red just by thinking
you are a freshly blossomed colorful flower
Did i get lost in your beautiful eyes
Did i get lost in your blushing cheeks?
you are a masterpiece sculpted by Brahma
you are an angel who came down from the sky
Did i get lost in your shyness?
Did i get lost in your beautiful lips?
you are the shining stars in my sky
you are the bright full moon in my sky
I lost myself fully in your absolute beauty
and my life has become yours
with my heart filled full with love only for you
